The Project Management program in the School of Information Technology at ITT Technical Institute teaches knowledge areas and processes designated by the Project Management Institute (PMI), a leading membership association for the project management profession. Students are introduced to skills and techniques that can be used to initiate, plan, organize, staff, guide, monitor and control a project. The program builds on that knowledge with instruction on topics and processes included in PMI's Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK©). This program combines theory and practice of project management theory and techniques.
A wide variety of types and sizes of businesses, government agencies and other organizations use people with knowledge and skills to help participate in and lead the management of a variety of projects.
