Who We Are And What We Offer

Who are the ITT Technical Institutes?
The ITT Technical Institutes are a leading provider of technology-oriented postsecondary degree programs in the United States based on revenues and student enrollment. We offer associate and bachelor degree programs as well as non-degree programs to approximately 29,000 students. We currently have over 75 institutes located in 28 states. We design our education programs, after consultation with employers, to help graduates prepare for careers in various fields involving technology. We have offered career-oriented education programs for over 30 years and our institutes have graduated over 145,000 students since 1976.

What do you offer?
We are currently offering, through the ITT Technical Institute in Indianapolis, Indiana, an online bachelor's degree program in Technical Project Management for Electronic Commerce and information Systems Security. For more information on these programs, go to On-line Programs.

How can it help me?
Demand for high-tech professionals exceeds the supply of qualified workers. The Information Technology Association of America estimates that nearly 425,000 IT jobs will go unfilled in the United States in 2001. All of our programs have been designed in consultation with employers to help graduates prepare for a career in their field of study.

Why take courses online?
On-campus, traditional courses do not meet the needs of all students. Some people, due to work schedules, family or other commitments, can be better served by alternatives like online education. ITT Tech's online courses offer the following benefits:

  • Access is available 24 hours a day, seven days per week. You can participate at times convenient for you.
  • You can participate anywhere you have a computer with access to the Internet at home, at work or on the move.
  • You can avoid scheduling conflicts associated with traditional courses.
  • An opportunity to study technologies used in industry.
  • An opportunity to develop motivation and goal-setting skills.
  • An opportunity to take a course you might not otherwise have access to.

What does it cost?
Tuition and fees

Is financial aid available?
Financial aid is available for qualified applicants. Student financial aid may include grants (outright gifts of money that do not need to be repaid) and loans (borrowed money that you must repay with interest). For more information on applying for financial aid, go to Financial Aid.

Are ITT Techs accredited?
The ITT Technical Institute in Indianapolis, Indiana is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS), which is an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
