This program entails among other subjects, both theory and applications of
digital and industrial electronics, hydraulics/pneumatics, robotic
systems, computer-assisted manufacturing languages and programming. The
coursework is intended to build upon the electronics, science, mathematics
and lifelong coursework that the student completed in previous
undergraduate work.
An automated manufacturing technology degree can help graduates begin to
prepare for career opportunities in various entry-level positions in a
variety of fields involving automated manufacturing technology. Some of
those positions include technical sales representative, automation
technician, machine technician, production maintenance technician and
process control technician.
