The Information Technology - Computer Network Systems program prepares
students to perform tasks associated with upgrade of computer systems and
development of wide area and local area network capabilities. This
program explores a variety of computer networks. Additional curriculum
topics, investigated through classroom and laboratory experiences, include
global system integration, network system design and implementation of
network systems. The program of study in Information Technology -
Computer Network Systems consists of a foundation core of computing and
general education courses, followed by advanced studies in applications in
computer network systems.
Graduates of this program can begin to prepare for career opportunities in
various fields involving computer network systems in a variety of
entry-level positions.
